Alien Skin to Announce Concert Date and Venue Only After Tickets Sell Out

Ugandan music star Alien Skin has revealed plans to stage another concert later this year, but with a surprising twist: the date and venue will only be announced after all tickets are sold out.

Speaking during an interview on Galaxy TV, the Fangone Forest boss said the unconventional move is a result of strained relationships with event promoters, which has pushed him to take full control of the concert alongside his own team.

Alien Skin explained that he is still committed to rewarding his fans with another live show following his February 2025 concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval. However, this time, ticket sales will come first—before any official announcements.

“For this concert, we must first sell all the tickets, then we see what follows,” Alien Skin said. “I’m not a promoter, and my working relationship with promoters isn’t good at the moment. But I have the vibe, and the fans who want to attend have the money. So we’ll sell tickets first and then plan everything else.”

According to the singer, once tickets are completely sold out, that’s when he will officially reveal the concert date and venue. He noted that keeping these details under wraps is intentional and meant to avoid unnecessary clashes and criticism

“I don’t want other artists clashing with my date, and I don’t want people criticizing turnout when they didn’t even attend,” he said. “This time, I want the fans to be accountable.”

Alien Skin also revealed that the scale and production of the concert will depend on the number of tickets sold. Knowing the exact audience size in advance, he believes, will allow him to prepare better and deliver a performance that truly matches the crowd.

For the controversial hitmaker, the strategy is not just about control—it’s about ensuring that genuine fans are the ones who show up and fully experience the show when the time comes.
