Veteran Ugandan musician Bebe Cool has vowed not to forgive TikTok creator Luwilight, real name Nansubuga Aisha, following what he described as demeaning and repeated attacks against him and his family.
Speaking during a phone interview, the Gagamel boss revealed that he deliberately pushed for Luwilight’s arrest, insisting it was meant to teach her a hard lesson and act as a warning to anyone who might consider attacking his family publicly.
“During forgiving, you teach lessons too. It is spare the rod and spoil the child. Children have to be punished because they will only know how hot the fire is after getting in contact with it,” Bebe Cool said.
“We only forgive people who are worth it, but she doesn’t deserve it.”
Unlike previous incidents where the outspoken singer has pardoned critics and online trolls, Bebe Cool maintained that this case is different. He explained that Luwilight has repeatedly attacked his wife Zuena and her cake business, something he says crossed the line.

“People are asking me to forgive her because she has a child. Doesn’t Zuena have children?” he asked.
“Next time, if you care about your children, don’t do things that will put you away from your family.”
The incident has since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some users calling for forgiveness while others back Bebe Cool’s decision, arguing that public figures and their families deserve respect and protection from online abuse.
