Fresh Trouble for Grace Khan as Rehab Bills Hit UGX 6M, Eddy Kenzo Steps In

UNMF boss Eddy Kenzo says the federation will review Grace Khan’s situation as her struggles with addiction continue.

Singer Grace Khan has been readmitted to a rehabilitation centre as her battle with alcohol and drug addiction continues, with her medical bills reportedly rising to UGX 6 million.

The development has caught the attention of Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) president Eddy Kenzo, who says he will consult the federation’s leadership to explore possible intervention.

“We shall ask the secretariat whether they are aware of the situation and see what can be done. We have helped her several times before,” Kenzo said.

Grace Khan has struggled with addiction for several years, leading to repeated stints in rehabilitation. She previously received support from Pastor Aloysius Bugingo and his wife Susan Bujjingo, but the help was later withdrawn after reported relapses.

Despite the setbacks, Kenzo has assured the public that he will personally follow up on the singer’s case as calls grow for better welfare support for Ugandan artistes.
