In true showbiz and spiritual fashion, city pastor and celebrated gospel artist Wilson Bugembe has announced a second concert date following an overwhelming response to his main show, which completely sold out.
The lead pastor of Worship House Ministries took to his social media platforms to share the exciting news, revealing that the second show will take place the next day at the same venue—Kampala Serena Hotel, offering another chance for fans who missed out on the first event to celebrate with him.
The initial concert, which had tickets priced at UGX 150,000, reached full capacity days before the event, leaving many fans disappointed. Responding to the demand, Bugembe and his team decided to extend the celebration. The second concert, set for August 9, will cost UGX 100,000—a UGX 50,000 reduction—making it more accessible while maintaining the same high production standards.
“After realizing that Serena had been filled, we agreed with my team to have a second show the next day,” Pastor Bugembe explained.
To make the back-to-back experience possible, Bugembe revealed that an agreement was reached with Steve Jean and Fenon Events to retain the stage and sound setup for one more day. This ensures fans on Day 2 get the same top-tier production and VIP ambiance as those who attend the first show.
“We paid an extra fee to keep the setup intact,” Bugembe noted, “so even those coming on the second day will enjoy the same Serena experience at a more affordable rate.”
Bugembe has since rallied his followers and gospel music lovers to grab tickets for the one-time opportunity, encouraging everyone to be part of the worship and celebration.
With a voice that has inspired millions and a message that continues to unite faith and music, Wilson Bugembe is once again proving why he remains one of Uganda’s most beloved gospel artists.
