Sheebah Karungi Breaks Silence on Allegations of Paying Bloggers to Attack Spice Diana

Ugandan music star Sheebah Samali Karungi has publicly addressed accusations claiming she has been paying bloggers to attack fellow artists, particularly her long-time rival, Spice Diana.

During a press conference held on Wednesday, the "Somebody" hitmaker strongly denied any involvement in orchestrated online smear campaigns against any artist.

“I have never been in anyone’s studio or called any blogger to write negatively about another artist. I swear to God,” Sheebah said, expressing her frustration over the ongoing rumors.

The multi-award-winning singer emphasized that throughout her 20-year music career, she has focused on producing good music and building her brand — not tearing others down.

Sheebah firmly dismissed claims that she hired bloggers to discredit Spice Diana, saying:

“I’ve never paid anyone to fight Spice Diana. Even if I paid 100 bloggers to abuse her, it wouldn’t change the fact that she’s a great artist. Nothing can take that away from her.”

Sheebah added that as an established artist with a solid catalog of hit songs, she does not believe in using negative tactics for publicity. Instead, she called on fellow musicians to focus on creating quality music and building genuine fan bases.

“I’ve mastered my craft for the past 20 years. I don’t need to stoop that low. Let’s concentrate on our work and let the music speak,” she concluded.

The singer’s response comes amid growing tension and online debates involving fan bases and bloggers aligned with various artists in Uganda's entertainment industry.
