Ugandan star Spice Diana has spoken out firmly against claims of a bitter rivalry with fellow diva Sheebah Karungi, stressing that the country’s music industry is big enough for multiple queens to shine.
The Siri Regular singer was put on the spot by a fan who insisted that “two queens can never exist in one kingdom.” But Spice Diana clapped back with confidence, declaring that her 10-year music journey is built on hard work, respect, and authenticity — not on stepping on others.
> “I want to categorically make it clear to those who think that I have needed to cling onto anyone to get to the top, I didn’t. I worked my way up and never disrespected anyone. I’ve been Spice Diana for the last 10 years and nobody else. So to make it clear, there’s room for more than one queen, star girl and the rest to shine,” she said.
The singer further urged fans to stop fueling beef between female artists, reminding them that disagreements may happen in the industry but should never be mistaken for enmity.
Spice Diana’s message comes after years of comparisons between her and Sheebah Karungi, with fan bases often clashing over who holds the “queen” title. But with her latest bold statement, Spice is choosing unity over rivalry — and proving that more than one woman can reign in Uganda’s music scene .
